The PD 600 Series from PROCES-DATA has been extended with a new analogue input module, the PD 643
The PD 643 is a 3-channel analogue input module. All three input channels can be configured for either thermocouple or 0-100 mV sensor input. A Pt100 or Pt1000 temperature sensor can be connected to channel 1 and may be used as a reference temperature for the thermocouple sensors connected to channels 2 and 3.
Consequently, without any other modules being involved, the PD 643 provides two independent thermocouple based temperature measurement values.
Like the other modules in the PD 600 Series, the PD 643 has a built-in P-NET Light-Link fibre optics interface, which makes it possible for other devices to access the variables in the module.
