Inviting non-member companies to join on special conditions.
EPTDA, the leading association for the industrial distribution channel in Europe, is focusing on growth to beat the economic downturn. The European Power Transmission Distributors Association (EPTDA) is introducing two attractive offers in 2010: for potential members to join the 2010
Annual Convention in Malta and for Eastern European companies wanting to join EPTDA as member.
“EPTDA is the only leading pan-European association focusing on growth and bringing together the decision makers of the Power Transmission and Motion Control (PT/MC) industry together. In order to ensure that our industry continues to thrive and prosper, and our membership continues to grow, we are offering two very special offers for new member companies to join EPTDA and get a taste of our membership benefits at our upcoming Annual Convention in Malta,” said Hans Hanegreefs, Executive Vice President, EPTDA.
The EPTDA is announcing the reduction in its 2010 convention registration fee for non-member
companies from EURO 1,130 to EURO 830 for the first delegate. “Non-member companies are allowed to join our Annual Convention only once as a non-member. With the reduced fees, we aim to attract more companies to join our association and experience the advantages of being a member of this premier community,” adds Hans Hanegreefs.
“Innovation, consolidation and globalisation is happening at a very fast pace in the PT/MC industry, and the ongoing global recession has taught us a thing or two about the power of information, the need to stay connected and the strength of partnerships. EPTDA is committed to ensuring that innovation continues, and that information flow takes place uninterruptedly,” continues Hans Hanegreefs.
The EPTDA has been eyeing on growing its presence in Eastern Europe for a long time, and to this effect it hosted its 2005 Annual Convention in Prague, Czech Republic, to set foot in this promising market. To further step-up this commitment, EPTDA is launching a special one-time offer to all Eastern European companies to join the association at a special membership fee of EUR 150. In addition, EPTDA is also waiving off the application and admissions fees. The member companies should fulfill the strict criteria laid out by EPTDA to benefit from this offer.
“The ongoing economic downturn has taken its toll on just about every country and Eastern Europe, in particular, has been hit hard. With these special offers, we want to boost the confidence back in our industry and the emerging markets, and raise awareness amongst our members to profitably benefit from doing business with Eastern Europe,” concludes Hans Hanegreefs.
Themed “Our Future”, the EPTDA’s 2010 Annual Convention will take place in Malta, from 29
September to 1st October, and will welcome close to 300 business owners, CEOs, Managing Directors and other key decision makers of the PT/MC industry at Hilton Malta hotel. For the first time ever, EPTDA is organising special Company Visits (in partnership with Malta Enterprise) for its members to get insight into the effective business models active in fast-developing business hubs like Malta. EPTDA is welcoming Maltese Minister of Finance, Economy & Investment, Mr Tonio Fenech, as its special Guest of Honour, as well as world-class speakers, economists and industrialists to set a new tune for the future.
