Concentration measurement, phase detection and reaction monitoring with LiquiSonic®
The company SensoTech provides with LiquiSonic® a measuring and analytical system that measures the concentration in any type of liquid. Typical applications are the precise concentration determination of material mixtures, the phase detection, the neutralization or reaction monitoring, such as polymerizations and crystallizations.
Using the LiquiSonic® system, quality and process safety are guaranteed as well as increased yield and saving in resources by reducing the consumption of raw material and energy at the same time. The concentration determination is based on the sonic velocity measurement that enables a high measuring accuracy and provides updated measuring data within seconds.
LiquiSonic® consists of one controller and one or several sensors.
The sensors are installed directly in the process, working maintenance-free and are usually manufactured in stainless steel. For using the sensors in chemically aggressive liquids there are special materials available. SensoTech is also flexible in providing different installation lengths, process fittings and electronic housings.
The completely enclosed design, that requires neither gaskets nor moving parts or “windows” to the process, makes the sensors especially robust. In hazardous areas, SensoTech is able to provide a certification for ATEX and IECEx. The controller manages and visualizes the reproducible measuring data. With connection to control systems, it is possible to regulate the process automatically.
About SensoTech:
Since over 20 years SensoTech GmbH has been engaged in the development, manu-facturing and sales of inline analysis systems for process liquids. With worldwide in-stalled, highly precise and innovative measuring systems for monitoring of concentra-tions, compositions and changes of chemicals as well as properties directly in the process, SensoTech has significantly contributed to the enhancement of the state of the art.
In addition to the measurement of concentration and density, the phase inter-face detection as well as the monitoring of chemical reactions like polymerization and crystallization are typical applications. SensoTech inline analyzers set standards in the technological and qualitative valence, user friendliness and reproducibility of process values. Special calculation methods and sophisticated sensor technologies enable reliable and precise measuring results even under the most difficult process conditions.
The knowledge and the experiences of the highly motivated and committed SensoTech staff are the result of many different applications supported by well-known customers from the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, food technology, semiconductor technology, automobile and steel industry as well as many other industries. In addition, these experiences also open up unimagined solution possibilities for new measuring challenges.
